What You’ll NeedCereal boxPencil Ruler Scissors or craft knife Poster paint, colored paper or scrapbooking paper Glue Tape Instructions1. Using the ruler and a pencil, draw a rectangle one-half to one inch smaller than one broad side of the cereal box.2. Cut away the rectangle with either scissors or a craft knife. The cereal box has now become a 3-dimensional frame. 3. Tape the sides of the cereal box together. Decorate the box with poster paint, colored paper or scrapbooking paper. If you don't have any of these, you could also use a page of newspaper comics or a colorful magazine page. If you have any wrapping paper it could be used too, either the white side which can be painted or a decorated side. Solid colored wrapping then be painted or used as is. 4. Glue your mementos on the inside of the cereal box. Display with pride. Optional: For a finishing touch you may want to use a sheet of clear cellophane (as the front of the frame) taped down with clear tape on all sides. |
