Aliens, a favorite of most little boys. Help them grow their imaginations by creating their own out of this world creature, five of them to be exact.

What You’ll Need

green knit glove
small pipe cleaners
5-10 small wiggly eyes
markers

Optional: two green face cloths, sewing materials. Add little extras like tiny pom poms, button or sequins for eyes if you don't have wiggly ones.

Instructions

1. Take one green glove. If you don't have one, make one using two green face cloths: Stack the cloths on top of each other. Trace one hand on one cloth. Sew along the line. Cut around the stitches, about 1/4 inch away. Turn the glove inside out. IDEA: Not all aliens are green so let your child be creative and choose any color they'd like.

2. Cut the pipe cleaner into five small pieces, at least 1.5 inches long. Thread a pipe cleaner through the tip of each finger of the glove to make the alien's antennae. Optional: Add tiny pom poms to the ends of the antennae with glue.

3. Glue wiggly eyes on each finger of the glove. Decide if you want to make one- or two- or even three-eyed aliens. If you don't have wiggly eyes, simply draw eyes with markers or use other tiny circles like sequins or tiny buttons.

4. Add other alien features with markers.
