> Mother's Day Activities All Dressed Up Mother's Day CardIf Mom has the sort of closet that can keep you busy all day with dress-up time, then your Mom will love her own special 'All Dressed-Up' card. Don't be shy with the decorations on this one! Now's your chance to create a fashion that is unlike any other. Be careful though... Mom may be asking for fashion advice from you! What You’ll Needblank notecard or plain paper foldedpaper doll dresses (or dresses cut from mail order catalogues or magazines) scissors glue ribbons, laces, fabric scraps or patterned paper embellishments, such as sequins, small beads, etc. Instructions1. Pick a paper doll dress that you want to use for the card. Cut off the tabs. (If you don't have a paper doll dress, you can find dresses to cut out in mail order catalogues or magazines.)2. Glue a piece of trimming, scrap fabric or patterned paper across the front of the note card. If you don't have a note card, make one by folding a plain sheet of paper in half twice. 3. Glue the paper doll dress on top of the trim, fabric or patterned paper. Embellish the dress with small beads, sequins, and other materials. 4. Write your own special message inside the notecard. |
