Alphabet

At our school, we learn the alphabet doing two letters a week. We have a penquin this year who sits next to me, it is a container shaped like a penguin and has an opening.

The children bring in letters, magazine pictures and things that start with the letter of the week. First we share them and talk about the pictures or letters and then we feed our Penguin.

The children love being able to feed him. We name him at the beginning.
