> Space Activities Astronaut HelmetNo astronaut outfit is complete with a helmet. Give your little spaceman or woman the finishing touches they need to soar beyond the stars. What You’ll Needtwo brown paper bags (should be big enough to fit over child's head)scissors clear plastic container tape glue white paint paintbrush white paper markers stickers Instructions1. Place one paper bag inside the other to make a strong helmet. Cut the ends so that they rest on the child's shoulder when child wear the bags over his/her head.2. Trace the bottom of the plastic container on one side of the helmet. Cut out the traced shape. Place the rim of the plastic container in between the two paper bags with its bottom facing out. Tape the plastic container in place. This will make the front of the helmet. Consider using a hot glue gun instead of tape to insure it remains in place if you think it might not stay or is a bit heavy. 3. Paint the helmet white and allow to dry. Decorate it with markers and stickers. Try and find stickers that will accentuate the helmet. |
