Autumn Leaves PrintSavor autumn all year long with this simple print project suitable for framing which can be used as an addition to your home decor courtesy of your child. What You’ll Needdried leavesclay aluminum or plastic tray pencil paint paper Instructions1. Collect Autumn leaves that have fallen on the ground. Pick those with interesting shapes.2. Soften the clay by kneading in your hands. Flatten it to about 1/2-inch thick in an aluminum or plastic tray. 3. Arrange the dried leaves over the clay. Trace around the leaves with a pencil, making sure to press the pencil down into the clay. 4. Remove the leaves and cover the clay with a thin layer of paint. Press a sheet of paper firmly on top of the paint for the imprint. Use the colors of fall or if you are planning on framing use a color that will blend well with the color scheme of the room it will be display in. 5. Remove the paper and you have a print suitable for framing. |
