Balloon Party Invitations

Your child’s birthday party is coming up and you want to do something a little different. You have a theme planned and the games and food are set in stone. What about those invitations? Why not try something a little different in that area. Here’s an idea that might just work.

What You’ll Need

* Balloons
* Paper with all the party details included on it
* Ribbon

The balloons you use can be just simple balloons that you can buy at any store. If your child is having a theme party and you would like those balloons to follow that theme try a hobby shop in your area to see if they might have balloons that will work for your theme.

On a piece of paper, write down all the details about the party. Be sure all the information is included and if you’re not sure what those instructions should include find an old invitation or go on your computer and look up what an invitation may include. This way nothing is left to chance by anyone.

Once you have the details on the paper place the paper inside the balloon. Now comes the hard part. Blow that balloon up. Kids are pretty good at this task so don’t hesitate to ask for help especially if you have a lot of balloons to fill.

When the balloon is blown up, tie it off, and then place a ribbon around the end of the balloon. This ribbon should be a little long so that when the balloons are delivered you can hold the ribbon and not lose the balloon to the environment. Of course these will have to be hand delivered so make concessions for carrying them in the car and transferring them from one person to another. Also be sure to tell the guests that they must pop the balloon to get the information inside.

Balloons can be a great way to do your child’s invitations. They are fun for the child and the guests and aren’t very expensive. At your child’s next birthday party give this idea a whirl and see just how much fun everyone can have.
