> Father's Day Activities Bar-B-Que Apron for Father's DayHow about a Father’s Day Bar-b-que apron? (What dad doesn’t like cooking his family a good meaty meal on the grill?)
There are three ways to make one. Go to any craft shop and buy a plain apron. (I bought a thick, canvas-like one in beige from Michael’s.) 1) Have the kids draw pictures of dad doing various “dad” things. (Like grilling, mowing, napping, etc…) Scan the artwork and print onto iron-on sheets. Then, iron the artwork onto the apron. 2) Or, have the kids pick out their favorite photos of dad. Scan & print on iron-on sheets and iron them onto the apron. 3) Or, combine the two above. Have the kids pick out photos of dad. You may trim them or keep them intact. Tape the photos to a piece of plain white paper and have the kids draw a frame around the photo or, if a cut-out, have the kids draw a scene around dad. Once again, scan/copy and print onto a sheet of iron-on paper and iron onto the apron. |
