Bathtime Puppets

Kids will look forward to bath time when these cute puppets are waiting for them! You can create your own puppets or base them on your child's favorite cartoon character.

What You’ll Need

Two washcloths for each puppet
Felt
Ballpen
Scissors
Sewing materials (by hand or sewing machine)

Optional: Fabric marker or paint in place of felt.

Instructions

1. Draw a puppet shape on the wrong side of one washcloth. It should have two arms (where your fingers will go into) and a head.
2. Stack the washcloth on another washcloth, wrong sides together.
3. Sew along the line you drew.
4. Turn the puppet inside out.
5. Cut eyes, nose, mouth and other features from felt.
6. Sew securely to one side of the puppet.
7. Make another puppet small enough to fit the child's hand.

Option: To prevent small pieces from breaking off and posing a choking hazard, draw the puppet's features with a fabric marker or paint.
