Bear Pencil Holder

Does Dad save empty coffee cans to store pencils and stuff in? Why not decorate it for him! He'll get a real chuckle out of this friendly Bear grinning at him from his coffee can collection!

What You’ll Need

Large empty can, such as a coffee can
Brown paper bag
Colored paper
Tape
Scissors
Markers

Instructions

1. Clean and dry the empty can. Don't use cans that have a sharp rim!
2. Wrap the can around with the brown paper bag. Tape into place.
3. Draw the bear's eyes, muzzle and mouth with markers.
4. Cut out the bear's ears from brown colored paper. Add a smaller piece of black paper in front, for depth. If you don't have colored paper, you can use a brown paper bag for the ears as well and use the black marker to fill in a small portion of the ears.
5. Attach the ears to the sides of the can.

This makes a great desk accessory for Dad's or Grandpa's desk.
