Give your preschool child a head start for school.

What You’ll Need

Balloon
Newspaper
Glue
Water
Bowl
Safety Pin
Paints of your choice

Instructions

Cover your area with newspaper.

In the bowl you will need to mix glue and some water to make a thin sticky liquid. (If you have liquid starch this works well too.)

Tear more newspaper into strips and set a side.

Blow up your balloon so that it is egg shaped. Once your egg is securely tied you will need to dip single slips of newspaper into the glue/water mixture and then place all around your egg.

Once you have done this you wait till your egg balloon has dried. After it has dried you can paint your egg to look like an Easter Egg. When the Easter Egg paint has dried, take the safety pin and pop the balloon inside.

You now have a BIG EGG, which can be used for display or as a piñata.
