Big Mouth Puppets

Give your preschool child a head start for school.

Make these hilarious puppets that are all mouth!

What You’ll Need

Paper plate
Colored paper (for the tongue, eyes, nose, etc.)
Scissors
Glue
Markers (if you want to draw the facial features instead of cutting them from colored paper)

Instructions

1. Fold the paper plate in half. The inside of the fold is the inside of the mouth.
2. Cut a tongue from colored paper. Glue to the inside fold.
3. Make eyes and a nose from colored paper. Glue to the top of the folded paper.
4. You can alternatively draw the puppets features with markers.
5. Make the puppet talk by holding one in your hand and making the lips move by opening and closing your hand.
