Big Red Footprint Craft (Potato Stamping)If your children like stamps they will love making their own Big Red Footprint stamp! What You’ll Need* Large Raw Potato* Craft knife (only for an adult to use!) * Red stamp pad or red paint * Paper to stamp on * Pen or marker InstructionsCut your potato in half lengthwise. Using a pen or marker draw a large circle and three smaller circles on the potato (to look like a paw print). Using the craft knife, cut around the four circles, leaving a raised footprint stamp. If you’re using paint, pour some onto a paper plate, then stamp the potato footprint into the paint, and stamp on paper. If you’re using a red stamp pad – it’s the same process, just press the potato onto the stamp pad. You have now made a Clifford footprint! These would be great for birthday invitations too – just stamp on cardstock and add your text.Potato stamping is a fun, kid-friendly activity. |
