Birthday Gift Box

Next time you give somebody a birthday (or any holiday) gift, why not make a special gift box instead of using store-bought wrapping? The recipient is sure to love the box as well as the gift inside!

What You’ll Need

Old box big enough for your gift
Colored paper or scrapbooking paper
Glue
Tape
Beads, glitter glue and other decorating materials
Markers

Instructions

1. Tape the sides of the box if they are loose.
2. Cover all sides of the box and it's lid with colored paper. For a fun look, cover the inside of the box as well.
3. Decorate the box with beads, glitter glue, markers, stickers, small found items (such as bottle caps, seashells, etc.)
4. Cut-out pictures of you and your loved one would make the box even more special.
4. Place your gift inside the box and watch the recipient exclaim how much they love it.
