Board Book Scrapbook

Here's a fun way to reuse an old board book and keep memories at the same time!

What You’ll Need

Old board book
Photographs and other mementos
Scrapbooking paper, gift wrapper or other patterned paper
Acid-free markers
Other scrapbooking materials
Glue
Scissor
Ribbon

Instructions

1. Use the board book as a scrapbook. Cover the pages first with scrapbooking paper, gift wrapper or other patterned paper. Or, leave some parts exposed so that the original illustrations from the board book are visible.
2. Glue photos and other mementos onto the pages of the board book.
3. Embellish with scrapbooking materials.
4. Add text to identify the persons in the photographs, describe the occasion, and document feelings when the photographs were taken.
5. Cut two lengths of ribbon, about four inches long.
6. Glue one piece to the inside front cover of the board book.
7. Glue the other piece to the inside back cover.
8. Tie the ribbons together to close your new scrapbook.
