Bubble Painting

Spending time blowing bubbles is a sure way to bring on the smiles, but bubbles float away. What's really neat about this project is that you get to "keep" your bubbles! These paintings are colorful reminders of a day spent blissfully blowing bubbles.

What You’ll Need

plastic cups (one for each color of paint you intend to use)
poster paints
water
dish detergent
popsicle sticks for stirring (or plastic forks/spoons work also)
paper (you'll need to experiment with the best position for the paper)

Instructions

1. In each plastic cup, mix water, a few drops of poster paint, and a few drops of dish detergent. Use one plastic cup for each paint color. Stir briskly with a popsicle stick to create lots of bubbles.

2. Blow the bubbles gently from the top of the cup so they land on the paper.

3. Let the bubbles burst and dry up. Your bubble painting will appear!
