Build a Clubhouse

Building with your children can be very rewarding. A clubhouse is a great project. Your children can learn how to cut wood, use a hammer, and paint.

How to Play

First, you and your child will need to make a design. Have your children help you draw what they would like their clubhouse to look like. Decide what materials you will need to build their design. Take your children with you to the hardware store. This way they can see how you choose what wood and other materials to use. Let them pick out the colors they want to paint their clubhouse.

Next, you and your children can begin building. Allow your kids to help you measure and cut the wood. They will have fun learning to use your tools. Just make sure to follow all safety procedures. Show them how to hammer the boards in place.

Once the clubhouse has been built, your child can paint it. This is a very fun activity for your children. Kids love to paint and make messes. Show them proper painting techniques.

Now that their clubhouse is finished, your children will have lots of fun playing inside. They will be very proud of hard work they did. Your kids will enjoy playing in the clubhouse they helped build for years to come.
