> Christmas Activities Button WreathMany of us place wreaths on our doors or in our windows at Christmas. They lighten up the Christmas decorations and make our guests feel welcome when entering our home. How about letting your children create a button wreath to adorn the wall or door of your home this year? Here’s what you’ll need: What You’ll Need* Wire (easy to bend)* Greenery swags * Buttons * Hot glue gun * Bows InstructionsHelp the children bend the wire into a circle. Use wire snips to cut the wire to make the wreath just the right size. Once the wreath is the perfect size warp the greenery around the wire to fill the wreath out.Now that they have a wreath they can start to decorate it. Use buttons of every shape and size. The colors won’t matter either as long as it is bright and festive. Use the glue gun to attach the buttons to the greenery. If you have you children you may want to this for them to keep them safe. Attach bows to the wreath for a more festive look. They can be added to the top, bottom and/or sides of the wreath. Attach these with a hot glue gun also. Let the glue dry completely so none of the decorations fall off when hanging the wreath. When the glue has dried hang the wreath on a wall, closet or bedroom door. What a different and creative way to make a wreath that everyone can enjoy during the holiday season. |
