Cardboard Playhouse

Give your preschool child a head start for school.

This activity will keep everybody busy and engaged on a rainy day!

What You’ll Need

Large cardboard box, the larger the better
Scissors or craft knife
Packing tape
Markers or paints

Instructions

1. Open the flaps on one side of the house.
2. To make a roof, cut off the corners from the two short flaps to make two triangles.
3. Attach the adjacent, long flaps to the triangles, forming a roof.
4. Tape into place.
5. Cut out a door and windows. You can cut them out completely or leave one side attached so that they can open and close.
6. Decorate the house with markers and paints.
