Cardboard School Bus Picture Frame

This is an easy and fun way to display pictures you have of your child and classmates in their school activities! You can finally gather up all those school snap-shots you have and frame them together in one unique frame. Make the school bus as realistic as possible, including the school name and year, for a real keepsake!

What You’ll Need

cardboard box
scissors or craft knife
paint and paintbrushes
markers
pencil
photographs
glue

Instructions

1. From the sides of the cardboard box, draw and cut out two identical bus shapes. Before you decide what size to make the frame, lay out your pictures and see how much space you'll need. One bus shape will be the photo frame. The other one will be the backing.

2. On the photo frame, draw and cut out windows. Paint this frame yellow and black with the markings of a bus. Use a marker to write the name of the bus company or school and the year on the bus. (Use the year for the bus number!)

3. Place the frame on top of the backing and trace the window cut outs onto the backing. This will be used as a guide to place the pictures on the backing. Don't cut the windows out of the backing.

4. Cut the photos to fit the windows. Glue to the backing, using the traced shapes as a guide.

5. Glue the frame on top of the backing and photos.
