1. After the party, you and your child will need to thank all of the children that attended the birthday party. The birthday part was a success because of them! Standard thank you cards with a circus theme can be found at a party or paper store. Have your child write the note, making sure to mention the gift he or she received and how your child felt to receive it. This bit of personalization lets guests know that you remember them being at the party.

2. A more creative thank you card involves party hats. Take a marker and write “Thank You!” in bold letters on the outside of an upside down party hat. Inside the hat include a small bag of animal crackers and a card expressing your thanks. Again mention the gift each child brought by name. If you have it, include a picture or two from the birthday party as a souvenir. Let your child hand-deliver each note of thanks to their party guests.
