Color Wheel

Here's a fun way for preschoolers to master their colors!

What You’ll Need

Paper plate
Pencil
Paints, markers or crayons
Old magazines
Scissors
Glue

Instructions

1. With the pencil, divide the paper plate into six sections. Each section will correspond to a color, in this order: yellow, orange, red, purple, blue, and green.
2. Have the child color each section with the correct color, using paints, markers or crayons.
3. Help the child look for pictures in old magazines of objects that show each color. Cut out the pictures and glue to the correct section.
4. Display!

You can take this further by creating a color wheel of primary and secondary colors only. Great for teaching the difference between the two.
