Creepy Crawly Snake

Here's one way to use up all those toilet paper cardboard tubes!

What You’ll Need

Toilet paper cardboard tubes - at least
Construction paper or colored paper
Tape
Marker
Cord
Lid of yogurt container (should be larger than opening on cardboard tube)
Scissors
Cardboard

Instructions

1. Wrap the toilet paper cardboard tubes with green paper. Or use another color that you want your snake to be. Draw scales all over the tubes.
2. Draw a snake's face on the bottom of the yogurt container lid. Or make one out of cardboard.
3. Cut out a snake's tongue from red or pink paper. Tape it onto the snake's face.
4. Make two small holes in the middle of the snake's face.
5. Push one end of the cord through the holes in the snake's face. Make a knot behind the face to keep the cord in place.
6. Lay the cardboard tubes on the floor in one long line. Thread the other end of the cord through each tube.
7. Make a triangular tail out of cardboard. Punch a small hole on the tail. Tie the end of the cord through the tail and knot to keep in place.
