Cupcake Hats

Cute for anytime of year, these wonderful cupcake hats are fun to look at AND eat! :-)

What You’ll Need

* Baked cupcakes
* Large sugar cookies
* Frosting (colored depending on your theme)
* Small round chocolate candies and other decorations

Directions

After your cupcakes have cooled, turn them upside down on top of the large cookies, using frosting to "glue" them together. Frost the cupcakes and cookies completely (tip: warm your frosting slightly in the micro to make it thinner and put the hats on a cookie sheet to catch drips). Continue to frost until the cookie and cupcake is completely covered.

Decorate your hat with candies and other edible treats.

These would be great for tea party hats for a special tea or leprechaun hats in March. Even for a wedding shower as the grooms top hat. Have fun!
