Customized Wrist Bands

Give your preschool child a head start for school.

What You’ll Need

Cardboard
Hook-and-loop dots
Ribbons
Fabric
Buttons, beads, rhinestones and other small decorative items
Glue
Scissors

Instructions

1. Cut the cardboard into a strip about 1 inch wide and long enough to go around the child's wrist. It should not be too snug. A used cereal box would work well.

2. Glue hook-and-loop dots on each end of the wrist band so that the child can easily open and close it.

3. Decorate the wrist band with ribbons, fabric, buttons, beads, and other small decorative items. Attach with glue. Pieces of lace, rick rack and other trimmings also work well.
