> Easter Day Activities Decorating for EasterYour children will have a blast making the decorations for your Easter celebration! Coordinating, designing, and hanging the decorations is a fun way to get your children involved. It can save you money, and make things a bit easier on you.
Let the children decide on the theme, colors and designs. Give them guidelines and let them take it from there. You may wish for them to focus on the religious parts of Easter, spring and flowers, or you may go for a more "Easter Bunny" approach for their decorations. The children will need to work together to decide what decorations they want to make and what they will need in order to make them. Have them make one combined list of supplies they will need to make the decorations they have decided on. Remind them not to forget things like glue, string, or tape. After you get the supplies they need, it is time to sit back and see what your children can do. This is their project, so let them do it on their own. Supervise from afar. Make sure they don't destroy your house or glue their sister to the wall, but you want them to feel you believe in them and their abilities. It is time to let them display their decorations. Allow them to do most of the work, but you may wish to do all the decoration hanging that involves climbing. You wouldn't want them to get hurt. Now it is time to enjoy and show off your children's hard work. Make sure to tell your guests who made all the beautiful decorations. Don't forget to take pictures, and have a great party. |
