> Easter Day Activities Easter JewelryThis is a great Easter activity for all children, but especially toddler or elementary aged girls! What girl wouldn't want a matching jewelry set for Easter? What You’ll Need* Various shades of pastel-colored construction paper* Glue (glue stick or school type white glue work well) * Scissors Instructions* Cut the construction paper into strips, making them approximately the same size.* Show the children how to make a chain link with the construction paper by folding the paper in a circle, dropping a dab of glue on one end and pressing the two ends together. * For each new link in the necklace, fold the construction paper in a circle around the previous link so the links form a chain. * Once the chain is long enough to fit over the child’s head when held end to end, add one more link to join the two ends of the chain. * Place the necklace over the child’s head and let them marvel in their new Easter jewelry. * Let the children then make bracelets, rings and anklets to create a matching Easter jewelry ensemble. * Just repeat the same steps as mentioned above, only this time using smaller strips of construction paper, depending on the type of jewelry that is being made. |
