> Easter Day Activities Easter Sugar Cookie RecipeWhat You’ll Need* 1 or 2 packages sugar cookie dough* 1 container of pink cake icing * 1 container of white cake icing * 1 container of yellow cake icing * Cookie cutter shapes (eggs, chicks, bunnies, and/or flowers) * Assorted candy sprinkles of your choice * 1 cup all-purpose flour DirectionsSet dough out and allow to reach room temperature.Use flour to coat cutting board. Roll out dough into a quarter inch thick, one package at a time. Using cookie cutters, cut out cookies in various shapes. Place cookies on un-greased cookie sheet Bake at 350 degrees (or temperature on cookie dough package) for 7-10 minutes. Remove cookies from oven and place on cooling rake, allowing to cool completely. Ice cookies using all three cake icing colors. (Be sure to alternate colors with each cookie) Place candy sprinkles on top and enjoy! |
