This is a very simple and quick craft that can lead to hours of make-believe fun! Very few supplies are needed and your options are unlimited as far as what kind of finger puppets you can make! One fun activity you can do with these finger puppets is to stage performances in a 'miniature theater'!

What You’ll Need

Construction paper
Markers
Scissors
Tape

Instructions

1. Cut the construction paper into a square just a little longer than your finger.

2. Cut the top off into a shape depending on what character you would like to make. Here are a few ideas:

*cut the top edge into a fringe for hair

*cut a zigzag edge for a crown

*cut long, pointy ears for a rabbit

2. Draw the character's face and clothes with markers. You could even make the clothes with some more little pieces of construction paper. A vest would be pretty quick and easy to make, for instance. And you could use wiggly eyes for your characters, if you have some.

3. Wrap the character around a finger and tape into a tube - just not too tightly, so that you can use it again and again.

4. Repeat all these steps and make even more characters. Now wasn't that easy?
