> Easter Day Activities Egg MaracasThis craft is a great way to combine Easter and music together, well at least music your little ones will like! :) Once you've completed the egg maracas, take the fun outdoors and let the kids run around the yard and shake to their heart's content. What You’ll Need* Plastic eggs (one for each child)* Glue * Rice, BB pellets, small gravel or marbles * Enamel craft paint * Newspaper * Paint brushes (one for each child) * Bowls of water (one for each child) InstructionsClear the table and cover it with newspaper to avoid any paint messes getting on it.Gather up all the supplies and round up the kids! Give each child an egg, bowl of water and paint brush. Have each child choose their egg filler from the rice, gravel, etc. Add the filler to one half of each egg. Place a thin line of glue around the edge of the egg. Put the two egg halves together and wipe any excess glue off the outside. Once the glue has completely dried, have each child choose a paint color for their egg. Paint the eggs and allow to dry completely on newspaper. Once, dry shake baby shake! |
