Fabric Wreath

Here's a unique Christmas decor that's sure to catch everyone's eye!

What You’ll Need

Styrofoam ring
Fabric scraps
Pinking scissors
Ribbons in Christmas colors
Optional: glue

Instructions

1. Cut the fabric scraps into strips around 1 inch wide and long enough to be tied and knotted around the wreath. Use pinking scissors to prevent fraying. Or, use ordinary scissors and make frayed edges a part of the design. Use fabric scraps in Christmas colors or to match your Christmas decor.

2. Knot the pieces of fabric all around the Styrofoam wreath until it is completely covered. Experiment and see if you prefer having the knots all neatly lined up, or going all over the wreath in different directions.

3. If you don't have fabric scraps, you can use ribbons in various colors instead.

4. Alternatively, you could cut the fabric into different shapes and glue them all over the wreath, like a montage.

5. Use a piece of ribbon to make a loop on top of the wreath. Hang up the wreath and admire!
