Fall Leaf SuncatcherYou'll want to do several of these for every window in the house! These little autumn jewels hanging in your windows will brighten your day even when the skies turn gray. And don't forget Grandma's windows too! What You’ll NeedAutumn leavesclear adhesive sheets (like Con-Tact paper) scissors paper punch yarn, ribbon or string Instructions1. Go for a walk on a Fall day and collect leaves that showcase the colors of Autumn.2. Take 2 identically sized adhesive sheets. (Start small, it's a little tricky to get the sheets together without wrinkling them.)Think about how you would like to arrange the leaves on the sheet. For best results, do not overlap the leaves. You can arrange them to form a pattern or shape. When you are happy with your desired design, lift off the backing of one adhesive sheet. Press the leaves onto the sticky side of the sheet. 3. Cover the leaves with the other adhesive sheets, doing your best to match the corners and sides of the sheets. This will take a little practice and you may get some wrinkles in your sheet the first time. Try starting with a small leaf on a small sheet. Line up one edge and sort of roll the sheet down over the other sheet. If they don't match exactly, simply trim the edges. 4. Punch a hole on each of the top corners of your leaf display. Tie a length of yarn, ribbon or string around each hole to make a hanger. 5. Hang the display in front of a sunny window and enjoy your beautiful Fall Window Display! |
