Fashionable Jars

Here's one way to reuse jars and hair scrunchies!

What You’ll Need

empty plastic or glass jars about 3 inches wide
lots of colorful hair scrunchies
glue
lace, rick rack, ribbons and other trimmings

Instructions

1. Wash and dry the jars. If you don't have empty jars, you could also use an empty plastic soda bottle cut in half crosswise.

2. Cover the jar with hair scrunchies by slipping them over the jar. Experiment with arranging the scrunchies in different ways until you come up with the best one.

3. Glue a piece of lace, rick rack, ribbons or another trimming to cover up the mouth of the jar.

4. Use the jar to keep your knick knacks!

Optional: Cover the bottom of the jar with a piece of paper. Cover the top of the jar with paper, fabric or other small items such as buttons. This would be a fun project to do with your hair scrunchies to hide what is in the jar!
