> Father's Day Activities Father Themed Picture and FrameDads always love something made by your little ones. NOT another tie! Or more golf balls. This idea let's the kids mimic their dad the way they see them. Sure to bring a chuckle...and sure to earn a place on dad's desk! What You’ll Need* Camera* Clothes and props for dressing up like dad (i.e. golf attire, suit and tie, his favorite cap, etc. * Cheap wooden unpainted picture frame (bought at craft stores for about a buck) * Paints & brushes * Sharpie * Other decorations for frames (such as golf tees, etc.) * Hot glue gun or craft glue InstructionsAsk your little one how they picture daddy? Is it watching t.v. with a remote and their favorite cap on? Is it practicing their golf swing? Is it heading off to work with their briefcase? Or maybe it's at the grill cooking out. Whatever they want to do, help them assemble an ensemble, then snap a digital photo and print it out. Next let your kids paint the frame, then decorate it with things that fit the theme. Finally, using a sharpie have them write a message such as "world's greatest dad" or whatever on the bottom of the dry frame. |
