Feelings Paper DollsSometimes children have a difficult time expressing their feelings. These Feelings Paper Dolls can help. What You’ll NeedBond paperPencil Scissors Markers, crayons, paint Optional: cardboard; patterned paper; fabric scraps; glue Instructions1. Fold the bond paper like an accordion, back and forth. Make sure you have four sides.2. Draw a doll on the top of the folded paper, either a girl or a boy. Make sure the doll's hands touch the very edge of the fold. 3. Cut around the doll through all folds of the paper, making sure not to cut into the folded sides of the hands. 4. Unfold the paper. You should now have four paper dolls. 5. Have the child draw a different feeling on each paper doll. Design the doll's outfit to match his/her feelings as well. As an option, make the paper dolls out of cardboard, such as one side of a cereal box. Make the doll's clothes out of patterned paper or fabric scraps. |
