Fishy Art

All those little fish crackers and gummy fish that kids love to eat are just so cute! This little "underwater" scene lets your child play with their food in an imaginative way that everyone will enjoy seeing.

What You’ll Need

Fish-themed food: goldfish crackers, whales, gummy fish, sharks etc
blue construction paper
tissue paper (green if you can find it)
scissors
glue

Instructions

Draw an underwater scene complete with a bunch of sea animals on the paper and then cut strips from the tissue paper to make seaweed, gluing them onto the paper.

Now, take the fishy food and glue them around the paper to create a yummy ocean scene, but remember, don’t eat your artwork!

Display this project in a large ziplock bag if you are concerned about bugs getting into the food items.
