Gelatin Squares On the MoveThis game will be the hit of your child’s party. It is so much fun and can be very messy. Playing it outdoors might be better for you, your furniture and your carpet. If you have to play it inside it would be better to play it in an area that has tile floors or lay an old sheet in the play area. What You'll Need:* 1 to 2 (3 oz) boxes of gelatin* 4 bowls How to PlayMake the gelatin as directed on the box. Once the gelatin has set up cut into small squares. Place the squares of gelatin in a bowl on one side of the yard or room. Place the second bowl a distance away from the first bowl. The area between each bowl should be determined by the age of the children playing the game. Not to far for young children but a challenge of older children.Divide the children up into 2 teams. The first player must get on their hands and knees. Without touching the gelatin square with their hands, they must get the square out of the bowl and into the second bowl. There are a couple of ways of making this game interesting. You can put a time limit on how long they have to accomplish this feat. The second choice would be that they have to get the gelatin square there in one whole piece. The team who gets all their squares into the bowl first wins the game. This game is a lot of fun to play and can be quite the challenge. It’s a sure bet that your children will yell, scream, holler and jump up and down as their friends try to fill their bowl with gelatin. |
