Giant Feet

How much fun will you have stomping around in these giant feet that are so easy to make! You can make them go with many different costumes, as well! They are a perfect way to complete your Halloween costume!

Giant Feet Supplies

Four large brown paper bags
Old newspapers
Tape
Scissors
Masking tape
Felt sheets or colored paper
Glue
Markers

How To Make Your Wonderful Giant Feet!

1. Loosely fill two large brown paper bags with crumpled newspaper. Slip the open end of each paper bag into an empty paper bag. Carefully tape the bags together. These two big, brown blobs are your giant feet.

2. Cut a hole in each foot about 3 inches from the bottom of the top bag. Make the hole just large enough for the child's foot to go through. Reinforce the hole with masking tape so it doesn't tear easily.

3. Decorate the feet according to your costume, using the felt sheets and colored paper. For example, make the feet green and warty if you're dressed up as a witch. Or, if you're dressed as a dinosaur, keep the feet brown and add large claws. These would make fabulous giant feet for a clown costume, too! Just paint them all red and maybe paint some shoelaces on them.

4. Remember that you can only wear these feet indoors. Or you could try reinforcing them all over with duct tape if you really wanted to wear them outside. You can even look for colored duct tape to help the look of the costume.
