Thank you cards for a slumber birthday party should be sent out no later than a week after the party. Take photos of the girls during the activities to include with the thank you card.

Go to the dollar store and purchase a small scrapbook for each girl that attended, also purchase a sheet of letters or slumber party stickers. Your daughter can present each child with a scrapbook, a sheet of scrapbook stickers, and their own set of photos from the party. They can create their own scrapbook of the event that they can keep forever.

This may give them ideas for slumber birthday parties of their own to host. Include a bag of glitter or confetti if any was used at the party for decoration. These, too, can be put in the scrapbook to add to the decoration.

Visiting a party store will give more ideas for creative thank you cards. Let your daughter give her input about how to handle the thank you cards. She may have ideas of her own that are pretty good. Take your lead from her. Remember, there is also the option of a traditional thank you card that is purchased pre-printed from the store. Pictures can still be included as a souvenir of that night.
