Green Gooey Slime

Creating a bit of "Shrek Slime" will intrigue kids and grown ups alike. It's a great way to add a few laughs to a rainy day or any day when the kids are slowly fading in front of the television. They'll perk right up and turn into little Shreks before your very eyes!

What You’ll Need

Borax Powder
4 oz of glue
Water
Green Food Coloring
Spoon
Measuring Cup
Jar to put slime in

Directions

1) Pour your glue into the jar.

2) Add some water to the empty glue container and shake to get the rest of the glue out. Empty the glue container again into the jar.

3) Add a few drops of the Green food coloring.

4) In a separate bowl, mix one cup of water.

5) Add 1 teaspoon of Borax powder to the bowl.

6) Slowly pour the glue mixture into the bowl and mix.

7) Place the slime that foams into your hands.

8) Knead until it feels dry

9) The more you play with your new slime the less stickier it will become

10) Store in a plastic bag or jar in the refrigerator.
