Halloween Greeting Cards

Many people don’t think about sending greeting cards on Halloween. This is a fun and exciting way for your children to acknowledge family, friends and anyone they know who has a thrill for the dark and scary nights. Here are a few ideas for your children to try.

What You’ll Need

* Blank greeting cards
* Construction paper
* Crayons
* Markers
* Halloween stickers
* Glue or paste
* Scissors
* Pictures of themselves in costumes
* Halloween templates from the Internet
* Pen and/or pencil

Instructions

There are many ways for your children to make Halloween greeting cards. The most fun for them would be to use construction paper.

Start with black to create the actual card. Then use black, orange, green, white or any other color you can think of. They can cut out pumpkins, ghosts, bats, spiders and the list goes on and on, to attach to the card.

On the inside they can paste an orange piece of construction paper that is slightly small than the actual card. On this they can write the scariest sayings that will scare even the bravest of man.

Another way for them to create a Halloween card is by taking a blank greeting card and either drawing pictures or placing Halloween stickers on the outside.

On the inside they can paste a past Halloween picture of themselves in one of their wildest, cutest, or scariest costumes. Again they can write their own words to complete the card.

There are many ways including using Halloween templates from the Internet for your children to create the perfect Halloween greeting card. Just be prepared because you may get the scariest one in your mailbox.
