What kid doesn't like to make signs? This fun activity, made with just a few items, can be hung anywhere in your home.

What You’ll Need

* Package of assorted color construction paper
* Scissors
* String
* Stapler

Instructions

Open the package of construction paper, and have your kids write each letter of Happy Thanksgiving on a separate piece of construction paper. Cut out the letters and place them on a table, side by side. Turn over the letters.

Take a string and starting 5 inches before the letter H, run the string to the last letter, adding 5 inches of string after the letter G. Staple the string to the top of each letter. Take the two ends of the string and turn the entire sign over. The Happy Thanksgiving sign is ready to be proudly displayed.

Option: For this craft, you could also write things you are thankful for on each letter.
