Little girls really like to dress up in Mom’s clothes, makeup and jewelry. Why not give her a day to do just that?

Start by letting your daughter take a nice bubble bath. Add a drop of scented bath oil to the water to help sooth and relax her. Let her borrow some of your lotion or body spray once her bath is done.

Fix her hair just like when Mom dresses to go out. Blow dry and curl it. Add pretty bows, barrettes or ribbons for that perfect finishing touch.

Apply some makeup to her face. A little powder, blush and lipstick will make her feel special. If you are concerned it may break her out put some moisturizer on her face before applying the makeup.

She can wear one of your lacy dresses and a pair of your dress flats. Use safety pins or a belt to help the dress fit better. Place tissue paper in the toes of your shoes so she can walk in them better. You can also let her wear one of your short slips or camisoles under her dress.

Let her pick a necklace and bracelet to wear with her new outfit. Serve her a cup of tea and a few finger cookies and she will feel like a princess all day.
