> Valentine's Day Activities Heart SachetsYour child can create doily heart sachets that will smell sweet and make perfect gifts for someone on Valentine's Day. What You’ll NeedTwo red heart doilies that are the same sizeWhite satin ribbon Cotton balls Perfume or essential oils Instructions1. Have an adult cut a piece of ribbon long enough to be sewn through the doilies. Cut extra just in case. If the children are able, they can do it themselves.2. Lay the two doilies on top of each other. Sew the ribbon through the openings of the doily at the lowest point between the two curves of the doily. Leave about an inch or so free. 3. Spray four or five cotton balls with essential oil or perfume. Stuff them into the doilies and finish sewing. 3. Create a loop so the sachet can be hung or tie the ribbon into a bow. Whoever the sachet is given to can hang it in a closet or put it in a drawer! |
