Hearts and Hands Valentine

Imagine your precious little one giving Mom, Dad, Grandma, or Grandpa their own little hand with this little heart-felt greeting? Just a simple little sentiment like "I Love You With All My Heart" can make even the toughest grownup get all teary eyed. This is a very simple, but terribly touching craft.

What You’ll Need

Construction paper (red and pink)
pencil
Markers for writing sentiment
Scissors
Glue

Instructions

1.Trace your child’s hand on red construction paper with a pencil and cut it out.

2. Draw a heart on pink construction paper, small enough to fit on the hand and cut out. Have your child write a special message inside the heart. How about “I love you with all my heart!”

3. Fold heart in half.

4. Glue one half of folded heart to the front of the hand and let glue dry.

5. Be sure to press heart closed nicely before presenting.

This is a great card to make for Mommy, Daddy, Granda, and Grandpa, too!
