> Easter Day Activities Homemade Easter Greeting Cards
Anyone can go to the store and buy a card someone else wrote and designed. Wouldn't you rather say Happy Easter by showing someone you and your children took the time, effort and energy to make their card yourselves? Your children will have so much fun showing off their artistic abilities to your family and friends.
What You’ll NeedFirst, make a list of all the people you wish to send cards to. Let them help you decide whom to make cards for. They can make them for their grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. They may wish to make some for their teacher, coaches, or for people at their church.
Next, get together a variety of different arts and crafts materials for your children to use. Be creative. Some examples include: construction paper, paint, markers, crayons, colored tissue paper, colored foil, stickers, glue sticks, lace, glitter, tape, ect. There is no end to the possibilities.
InstructionsFinally, let them decide what it is they want to say in their cards. Help them, and guide them, but let them do it. This way the cards will truly be from them. They will see what wonderful cards they have made and feel a sense of pride. And if you're lucky, they just might make one for you too.
