> Valentine's Day Activities Homemade Valentine’s Day Door WreathA pretty little fabric heart wreath is a wonderful addition on any front door for Valentine's Day. With a little help from a grownup, your child can create this wreath to celebrate all the people who's love is felt every day of their life. If you wish, you may take a fabric marker and write the names of the people who hold a special place in your child's life What You’ll Need* Red fabric in various shades and textures* Scissors for cutting fabric * Thread * Sewing Needle * Newspaper * Wire (enough to bend to the size wreath you need) * Red Ribbon InstructionsUsing fabric make several various size heart shapes and sew together leaving room to fill.Fill with newspaper or craft filling of your choice. Sew hearts closed. Sew completed hearts together in the shape of a large heart. Attach red ribbon to top of wreath where the two sides of the heart come together and hang! You can also add more stability by attaching wreath to round wire with hot glue. |
