Why buy crowns for their costumes when you can have fun making fabulous crowns with your kids! What You’ll NeedPosterboard in your childs favorite colorScissors Paint, Markers or Crayons Glue Gold or Silver Gift Wrap Stapler Additional Decorations: glitter, foam shapes, stickers, plastic jewels, flat beads, mini silk flowers etc. Instructions1. Simply cut a strip of posterboard 3 or 4 inches wide, that is long enough to go around your child’s head and overlap it slightly.2. Cut a piece of the gift wrap the same length, but about two inches wider. You can staple two pieces together if it isn’t long enough. 3. Line up the giftwrap & posterboard at the bottoms. Glue the giftwrap to the posterboard. 4. Cut a zigzag pattern in the the top edge of the posterboard. (You may need to help little ones with this part.) 5. Decorate the paper side using glitter, shapes, stickers etc. 6. When the decorations have dried make a circle by joining the ends of the crown and stapling them together. |
