> Feelings & Emotion Activities Junk Mail CollageThere isn't a more prolific source of collage material than junk mail. Just sort through some of the mail order catalogues and requests for donations and you will find an abundance of colorful pictures and words that will be an endless source of creativity for your child. Encourage your child to create a free form collage and you will be amazed at what you can learn, too! Cut or tear out interesting pictures and words from junk mail or old magazines.2. Glue the pieces on paper. You can think of a design in advance or just glue the pieces and see what design you'll make in the end. Glue the pieces side by side or overlap some pieces -- see which you like best. 3. You may also want to preserve your collage by brushing it with decoupage material or with a simple white glue and brush (the glue dries clear). |
