> Leaf Activities Leaf Wind ChimeIt has bells on the bottom! That is reason enough to make most little ones want to build this craft.
What You’ll Need* Popsicle stick* Yarn (3-4 feet) * Green construction paper * Silver bells (5) * Glue Instructions1. Cut five 2” long leaf shapes out of the construction paper.2. Punch a small hole in each end of each leaf. 3. Cut yarn into 11 equal 5-inch lengths. 4. Tie each of the bells to a different piece of yarn. 5. Tie each end of yarn opposite a bell to the bottom of a leaf. 6. Tie a new piece of yarn to the top of each leaf. 7. Glue the lose ends of the yarn to the popsicle stick. 8. Glue the ends of the 11th piece of yarn to the ends of the popsicle. [Hint: When gluing the hanging pieces to the popsicle stick, try to align the bells so that they will clang into each other.] |
